Our home is friendly and comfortable, and a unique way to connect with Cambodia
We are a Christian family home situated in the Boeung Tum Poun area of Phnom Penh (10 minutes by tuk-tuk from the Russian Market). For over 9 years we have welcomed visitors and volunteer workers to stay with us and share our home.
We offer neat, private guest rooms for up to 3 people – all with private bathrooms, balconies, and fans or air-con – for $15 or $20 a night per room.
We give our guests a warm Cambodian welcome.
We have a tuk-tuk available for hire, and everyone is welcome to eat dinner with us – we enjoy excellent Cambodian food.
Any profit we make is used to support individuals in employment, education, housing and health.

Visiting Cambodia opened our eyes to the plight of most people in our known world – it has changed our lives. Staying at The House gave us an opportunity to work on different humanitarian projects. The highlight was working with a team of Cambodians to bring relief (food and medicine) to flood victims (Kath – UK)
As for Cambodia – we loved the whole experience and send you huge quantities of inadequate thanks. What an experience!!! We got a real feeling for Cambodia – in depth and rounded… the kind of understanding that doesn’t come easily… and never comes at all on the usual types of tour/holiday/package etc. …. … thank you for something very special. We feel like we are entitled to say we ‘know’ Cambodia in a small but significant way. (Dr and Mrs Jon Brown – UK)
Thank you for welcoming me to your home. I arrived with an empty heart and in two months it was filled with God’s love (CB – Australia)
(V and family – France)
We really enjoyed our stay at Christine’s. We loved the mixture of Khmer and expats in the house, and especially appreciated all the advice and help given to us in our first week living in Cambodia. We stayed at Christine’s while we looked for an apartment to rent and started language school. We could not have asked for a better springboard to our time in the Kingdom!! (K and C – Canada)
Thank you for showing me ‘real Cambodia’ without you I would never have got away from the tourist trap. (Mark – UK)
I had such an amazing stay at the guest house. The rooms were clean and I felt safe there. Everyone was friendly and felt like family after only 1 week. I would definitely stay again. Thank you once again. I had so much fun with everyone you put me in contact with. (Kate – Australia)
If you are a tourist looking for adventure we can arrange exclusive, exciting and genuine tours. For example – you could stay in a traditional Cambodian village home on the shores of the Mekong River. All-inclusive (food, accommodation, transport, an excursion to see the endangered Irrawady dolphins, and a kind and competent English speaking guide) for just $130 per person for 3 days and 2 nights.
